Dahab has been incredibly quiet, considering the mess they were in a few weeks ago! The people, however, are full of positive energy and I haven't come across one person who is negative about the outcome of what has happened. They all believe in a brighter future for Egypt, which makes me believe it was all worth it in the end!
I've had a great two weeks here in Dahab - the weather has been good, with only one or two days of wind, which is always a pain on every tour and the groups have been fun! Last Sunday, A couple of us went down to Ras Mohammed, which is a national park south of Sharm El Sheik and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very untouched and barren - it really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere!
