Staff quarters - where we all live!

This is Gordon - I visit him everyday and we have become fast friends...

Our modes of transport - we scoot around in these everywhere.

SAMOIS

This is the next gorgeous little village up along the river, where we camped. Typical little French village with an amazing patisserie full of sinful goodies, a small brasserie where the locals where drinking Pastis at 9am in the morning and a fruit and veg market with fresh, colourful produce.

It is here along the banks of the Seine that many of the great artists came to work and this area is famous for Monet coming here to paint and you can see why - the light in soft and beautiful and the scenery just makes you want to take up a brush!
